The problem: Importing the cad data is pretty bad. and I dont want to hand draw 8200 plants, theres simply not enough beer for this task. The blue code (species) isnt attached to the actual tree's attributes, thus making it completely useless.
What I need from you: Dear Jason P., I would love to trade the beers Im not going to drink for some knowledge of linking a line that points to plants telling their species. the plants are unique points. the line merely intersects these points visually telling the spp. code. I need to get this into the points' attribute data....argh
It doesnt have to be Jason, but I know he knows and his email has changed, expired, hes moved, undercover, or had an extreme makeover. If someone knows please help. If you need an image, I can do that. and the beer.
