The Flight...

After leaving friends and family in Cairo...Im sad and a little lost. Those were some fun times. And after arriving in the States its kind of a welcome to Wally World. NM is great though, the air is amazing and like usual, after my first shower in the ultra hard water all my skin fell off, or is still in the process of peeling, like that big flap called my nose.

The travelling seemed endless. 3am go to Cairo Airport. 5am leave. 5-6 hour layover in Frankfurter eating icecream and sleeping on unsleepable benches. Finally the tranoceanic flight happens and oh yeah they have an awesome repeating downtempo radio station and wireless internet, which I never used cuz I slept the whole 10 hours. I hada crazy jeaned Romanian next to me, and nobody spoke his language so the explaining the menus was hillarious. The Stewardess explained beef and potatoes by making horns with her fingers on her head and mooing. I went over well. I spewed my beer out my nose.

Then customs happened. My hour.5 layover turned into a close the doors at the gate as I ran up and "sorry, they just closed". And my response, "well can they just open"? "Im sorry theyre CLOSED" And Im like, " fuck this!" And the dude is like "GO AWAY" So I give a little physical body language that if read properly reads " I dont like you or your company, you suck" but if read improperly reads " I have serious indigestion from all that icecream, wheres the loo, and the customer service desk, I wanna give em a piece"

And then I talked the shuttle driver to drop me off at my house. She was the coolest ex-tractor trailer comando now shuttle driving and bad story teller to welcome me back to the dry state, weather-wise and employment-wise.

Oddness reigns
