I was there...only I left early because it was hot and boring for the 2 hours when there was no racing.
I will be contacting this Garrett fellow shortly. I think smooth pavement is the answer here. it looks way to steep and full of rocks and grap. i assume you made it to the bottom. maybe the reason you were the only one in your group is that all the other ones ARE DEAD FROM DOING THIS TYPE OF ACTIVITY....... Ping Pong or pool can produce the same warm fuzzies in winning.
