Las Picturas y Cosas Otras....

Tim Shaved!! OMG!!! 30 years in the making and now history.

Well a couple of days ago I went for the annual break in ride. I try to make it long, painful, and un-back-out-able. It was all of these things and more. I tried once before but the infamous bolt came out of my shoe and the day was fuxored before I even got out of the neighborhood. This time I made it an hour and a half each way, and then some town time racing traffic. Legs of pasta and lungs that feel like very warm vomit. Sit bones that scream. Calves that cramp for giggles. Its officially over. Phew...

Major Appologies....

So the last couple weeks have been intense. House work, phone issues, a dead lappy and new one ripe for the process of uninstalling all that bullshit. I was also supposed to leave for Big Bend last night to work....but didnt. Allow me to iterate:

2 weeks ago, shut lappy down for the night. Morning, no start, just death screen. Come to find out that the cd drive was toast and xp was corrupted. Price to fix = almost a new lappy. Bought new lappy.

Phone Issues. Out here the reception is foul. Especially for me and especially since citizens are only allowed to the digital band. Thanks military. Amanda gets decent signal and my phone was fuxored from searching for signal all the time so I took it back. Of course they dont have a replacement in stock, and Im supposed to leave for Texas in two days. So they fedex me a new body super fast, sweet. I go hook it up and theres not a single person that can hear me. The mic is broken. Then theres 3 hours of tech support trying to get me new one which they cant. Eventually they give me the newer model, apparently arriving today. So well see. If you want to talk....text me.

Kona gets spayed today too. No more nasty vajayjay. I was recently updated that at the clinic she is very naughty (wiggles) and writhed right out of her catheter. Special.

As far as pictures go, I have a lot to update on. The countertop is going in right now and the electricians are here as well. Now we just need the plumber so I can put the floor in and were done. The stucco is finished and all is painted. Cant wait. We put in some new exterior porch speakers for the "B" setup and all is good. Dr Lynn was here too, she approves.

Hasta Luego

Floored....

the floor is here....

and if you like some rad tunes....get Pendulum, with Motorstorms theme song too.

Shisha Mod....

Q: the last imported stone bowl for your shisha rolls off the counter and disintegrates before your eyes. What do you do? (you cant call Jack Bower)

A: wander around the house looking for MacGuyver style improv tools. I fortunatly dont have to wander long :)

There I was all frustrated when I looked at this beer can. Ive used beer cans for everything from shimming bearing races and Vbrakes to making model planes out of em, so why not a shisha bowl? It just happens to have the perfect bowl shape when you turn it upside down, so I drilled a couple holes and shizzam!!

Notice the rubbery seal thing. It really sealed the deal to make this work easy and simple.

Frenzy....

Theres used to be a lot of holes in the yard but now theyre all filled. Not sure if Im gonna make some more or what, but I am impressed with how things turned out so far. I even have some pear that dont have a home yet, I might just have to mingle them in with the rest of the circulation.

pics soon...

The Other Thing is this dumb show called Prison Break. I cant seem to stop watching it. for the past couple of nights weve been watching a disc and a half and making a mandatory stop point. The show is good, and theyve mastered the cliffhanger, considerably better than Lost.

There happens to be one more thing on my mind. The movie Taken WILL NOT be released in the US? WTF? Looks like Im moving to Canada after all.

And after digging a whole bunch Ive found that my new repeating albums are from RJD2. Enjoy this video:

Bits for Sale....

So the 87 Pathfinder has been sitting around for some time, exhaust issues and all. I finally decided to do something about it. With the weather being about 70ish I grabbed a couple beers and dove in. Parts were flying off this beast like they permanently attached, meaning, this was hard work! Either way the new mudster is almost ready for its maiden voyage. All I need now is a little elbow grease to get those manifold bolts out and new ones in.

If you wanna ride, bring a helmet! And check out the post on Craigslist!
